All finishers of the Marathon, Half Marathon, 10K and 5K will receive a finisher medal. Awards will also be given to the top three finishers in each male and female age division in the Marathon, half marathon, 10K and 5K.
We rely heavily on volunteers to make this event run in true Texas style. We need hundreds of volunteers to work Packet Pickup, staff the aid stations and to offer support to the runners and walkers at the start and finish. Check here for job descriptions, shift times, more information, and to sign up.
You may wear your headphones, iPODS or MP3 players, however, we ask that you keep the volume at a reasonable level for your own safety and out of courtesy for fellow participants. You need to still be able to hear participants, volunteers and officials in close proximity to you.
The race will go on as scheduled - rain or shine, sleet or snow. Only in the event of severe weather conditions will we cancel the race (no refunds due to weather). We will not postpone the race due to inclement weather. Please check your weather forecast prior to race day and plan accordingly.
MyLaps timing systems will be used to record participant times at the start and finish. The MyLaps bib tags will be secured to the back of your bib. Do not remove it or you will not receive an official time for awards.
