Yes! This is an event for runners and walkers of all abilities. Please note: all participants must complete the half marathon within the 5 hour course time limit. Course support will close at 1:30 pm.
Yes, you can pick up a packet for someone else if you have their name, age and which race your friend will be running.
Although we love furry friends, we ask that your four-legged running companion stay home due to safety reasons.
Jogging strollers will be allowed, however, we ask that those runners pushing a jogging stroller line up at the back of the pack as a courtesy for fellow participants.
You must be 12 years old prior to race day to participate in the Half Marathon. There is no age limit to the 5K.
All finishers of the Half Marathon and 10K will receive a finisher medal. Awards will also be given to the top finishers in each male and female age division in the half marathon and 10K. There are no finisher medals for all 5K finishers, but awards will be given to the top three finishers in each male and female age division in the 5K.
We rely heavily on volunteers to make this event run in true Texas style. We need hundreds of volunteers to work Packet Pickup, staff the aid stations and to offer support to the runners and walkers at the start and finish. The only change we can support is a change from the Half Marathon registration to the 5K, although no refunds on the cost difference can be administered. Please contact for more information.
Race entries are non-refundable and non-transferable. There are no refunds for canceled entries. Due to liability issues, no transfers of entries and bibs are allowed.
You may wear your headphones, iPODS or MP3 players, however, we ask that you keep the volume at a reasonable level for your own safety and out of courtesy for fellow participants. You need to still be able to hear participants, volunteers and officials in close proximity to you.
Spectators and supporters can enjoy a tour of the brewery. Partner passes are available for purchase as well as beer which will be available to purchase on race day by purchasing a beer only wristband at the iRun tent for $10.
The race will go on as scheduled - rain or shine, sleet or snow. Only in the event of severe weather conditions will we cancel the race (no refunds due to weather). We will not postpone the race due to inclement weather. Please check your weather forecast prior to race day and plan accordingly.
ChronoTrack timing systems will be used to record participant times at the start and finish. The ChronoTrack system uses a disposable tag, called a D Tag which will be placed on your shoe. The D Tag will be attached to your race bib, which corresponds to your bib #. Prior to the race you must remove the D Tag from your number and attach it to your shoe.
